CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR JEWELRY

Your unique piece of jewelry has been handcrafted using traditional jewelry-making techniques and exceptional materials. Since each piece is made by hand, slight variations are expected—these are what make our designs truly one-of-a-kind.

To keep your jewelry in the best condition, store each piece separately in a fabric pouch or its original box. This helps prevent scratches and impacts.

To maintain the brilliance of your jewelry for as long as possible, we recommend the following care and maintenance tips for your sterling silver pieces.

925 STERLING SILVER - GOLD

The loss of shine or tarnishing of silver jewelry can be caused by various factors, including oxidation from contact with external elements, chemicals, or cosmetics.

To ensure your jewelry stays in its best condition, avoid all liquids, including water, saltwater, chlorine, shampoo, conditioner, perfume, soap, makeup, self-tanner, hairspray, cleaning products, lotions, oils, and oxidizing agents. Always remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, or washing your hands.

Jewelry should also be removed before exercising, as sweat—a complex and natural substance—can accelerate tarnishing.

To prevent black stains on silver jewelry, store your pieces in a cool, dry place, preferably in an airtight container, to minimize exposure to air and oxidation.

Occasionally, soak your jewelry in warm, soapy water for a few minutes and gently clean it with a soft-bristled brush to remove dirt. Then, place it on an absorbent cloth and ensure it is completely dry before storing it.

24K GOLD VERMEIL

Gold vermeil consists of a thick layer of gold plated over a sterling silver base. We use 24K fine gold vermeil with a thickness of 4 microns.

While vermeil jewelry is more affordable than solid gold, it is also more delicate and requires special care. To preserve the golden color of your vermeil jewelry, follow these care instructions:

To ensure your gold-plated jewelry stays in its best condition, avoid all liquids, including water, saltwater, chlorine, shampoo, conditioner, perfume, soap, makeup, self-tanner, hairspray, cleaning products, lotions, oils, and oxidizing agents. Always remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, or washing your hands.

Jewelry should also be removed before exercising, as sweat can accelerate tarnishing.

If your jewelry gets wet accidentally, rinse it with clean water, dry it with a soft cotton cloth, and let it air dry completely to remove excess moisture.

Gently polish with a soft cloth—do not use any cleaning products, as they may damage the gold coating.

Vermeil jewelry should not be exposed to direct sunlight or humid environments (such as bathrooms), as these conditions can cause metals to oxidize and tarnish over time.

Store each piece individually in a protective jewelry box or an airtight plastic bag to prevent scratches.

Although we use the highest-quality gold plating, vermeil pieces are inherently more delicate and susceptible to losing their color over time.

The speed at which the gold plating fades depends on various factors, including environmental conditions, skin pH, and exposure to skincare products.

If your jewelry has lost its golden color, contact us to inquire about our custom re-plating service. We offer gold re-plating at cost price (plus shipping fees) with no additional charges.

We can restore your piece to its original brilliance—just like when you first bought it.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR GARMENTS

Our garments are made with mindful materials, natural fibers, and, in some cases, recycled materials. To maintain the longevity of your pieces, we recommend always storing them in a well-ventilated and clean space. Tissue paper helps protect the garments over time.

Here are some washing recommendations for your garments. Remember that detergents and fabric softeners have a significant impact on the environment.

WASHING A GARMENT

There are times when airing and brushing the clothes is enough if they are not dirty. If you do this, you will save water and energy and your clothes will last longer.

DETERGENT

If you use a detergent with ecological components, you will help reduce the environmental impact. Try not to use more detergent than indicated in the instructions on the package.

Using higher quantities can cause damage to your clothing and skin.

SOFTENER

Fabric softeners are often unnecessary in fabric care and are generally harmful to the environment.

HAND WASH

It is important to dissolve the detergent well before adding the clothes.

For the first few washes, separate the clothes as the water can become colored.

WASHING MACHINE

Use it only to wash synthetic or natural materials that accept this type of washing, make sure to separate colored or white garments. Empty the pockets well. It is advisable to use low energy consumption programs.

WASHING TEMPERATURE

Always respect the indicated washing temperature. Colored garments may fade if washed at 40 or by hand.
